For the third time in as many years, the Seton Catholic Cardinals take the Sectional 56 title and advance to regional play. Seton Catholic beat Blue River in the semi-final round by a score of 74 -52 on Friday night. Desmond Bane scored 41 points as he closes in on the 2,000 point mark.
On Saturday, the boys competed for the title against Union City. Another big win as they defeated their opponent 62 -38 and find themselves playing in the Regionals for the third consecutive year.
The Cardinals will meet up against Liberty Christian on Saturday, March 12th at noon. The winner will play in the regional championship game at 8 pm. All games are played at Frankfort High School. Cost is $7 for the single game, or $10 for all games.
There will be a Pep Rally on Thursday, March 10 beginning at 7:30 pm in the gym at SCHS to wish the boys well! The rally is open to the public.
