Sectional Champs!

Varsity volleyball successfully defended their sectional title to win their sixth title in program history as they defeated Lincoln.  On Tuesday night, they defeated Union (Modoc) 3-0 (25-14, 25-18, 25-15) in the opening round of sectionals.  Lydia Reichley had 18 assists, 16 digs, and 4 aces while Bella Cornell added 10 aces and 6 assists.  On Saturday morning, they defeated Tri 3-0 (25-10, 25-7, 26-24) in the semifinals.  Bryn VanVleet had 20 kills and 4 aces, while Lydia Reichley added 31 assists, 7 kills, and 7 digs.  On Saturday night, the Cardinals defeated Lincoln 3-1 (25-17, 18-25, 25-22, 25-22) in the championship.  Bryn VanVleet had 19 kills, 12 digs, and 4 aces, Lydia Reichley had 29 assists, 19 digs, and 5 kills, and Ella Berger added 10 kills and 16 digs.  


The Cardinals now have a record of 14-17 and will move on to face Lafayette Central Catholic in the first round of regionals this Saturday.  Regionals will take place at Wes-Del High School and our first match will begin at 10:00am.  Tickets are $8 for a single session and $10 for all sessions.  All tickets will be sold at the gate.
