The home of Red Wolves volleyball is the home of the 2014-15 Rufus Award.
Seton Catholic High School is the recipient of the Indiana University East athletic department's 2014-15 Rufus Award, given annually to a community individual, business or organization that selflessly advances the Red Wolves athletic program.
Seton Catholic's Chuck Mosey Memorial Gymnasium has been the home court of IU East volleyball since the 2010 season.
"Seton Catholic High School is honored to receive this year's Rufus Award," said Seton Catholic High School athletic director Trent Tremain. "We have greatly enjoyed the partnership with Indiana University East athletics over the past six years, and especially the opportunity to host IU East volleyball in the Chuck Mosey Memorial Gymnasium.
"The IU East volleyball team has provided their fans, our students and the Richmond community with a high level of collegiate volleyball that has been entertaining to watch. We feel blessed to have this relationship with IU East athletics and look forward to continuing it as both programs grow in the future."
IU East has an impressive 44-7 record at Seton Catholic over the past five years, including 10 home wins in a row to conclude the 2014 season.
"We're so grateful Seton Catholic has allowed us to host matches in their facility, and we look forward to our sixth season in Chuck Mosey Memorial Gymnasium," said IU East coach Abby Niekamp. "The setting creates a great atmosphere for our home matches."
IU East's first home date of 2015 is a tri-match on Sept. 19.
