Varsity Boys Basketball topped Blue River on Saturday night be a score of 59 -50 to become the Sectional 56 Champions for the 5th consectuive year.

Saturday's win came after an overtime win on Friday night against Randolph Southern.  The Cardinals were led by junior Trent Reichley and freshman Jake Moynihan -each with 20 points.  Moynihan put up 15 boards on Friday as well, as the Cardinals came out on top, 65 -58.

The Cardinals met up with Blue River following a regular season loss at home to the Vikings. Junior, Sam Brenneke led the Cardinals with 18 points, followed by senior Zach Rogers with 16.  Again, Jake Moynihan pulled down double-digit rebounds with 10.

Regional action will take place on Saturday, March 10 in Frankfort.  Game details are not yet available.
